I am 41 years old, have 3 children, and a wonderful husband that I have been married to for 19 years. I am a Gifted Intervention Specialist at Lake Local Schools in Millbury, Ohio. I have been teaching for 19 years. I graduated from Ohio Northern University. While in college I ran Cross country, Indoor and Outdoor Track. I have always been a runner. I have been running since the age of 6 when I ran my first ever 10K.
What are your greatest fitness accomplishments?
Transformation Information
I have always been on the thinner side expect of course when I had 3 children. But as I have reached that age of “35” I noticed my weight was a constant roller coaster and running was not as effective as it once was. Weight training and diet have really turned that around for me. I think my biggest changes have come in this second year because now I have been working with Julie Lohre for one solid year straight and it has made a world of difference.
What do you enjoy the most about fitness?
The challenge! I love when I can bench more than my weight for the first time or squat a PR. There is always something you can strive for and it’s that challenge that keeps me going.
What are your fitness goals?
I want to compete in a National show. I will be also looking to compete in a Pro show in the near future. I also would like to eventually get my personal trainer license or become an insanity instructor when I retire from teaching and help others to reach their goals. I love when coworkers or family members look to me for advice. It tells me that they see what I am doing is healthy and working and also how it is effective and they want that too.
What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?
Everyone!!! My family, my friends, my co workers, the people I meet at the gym. The list goes on and on. Each and every time someone comes up to me and says, “Wow you look great” or “You are the hardest working person I know in this gym” or “What do you eat to look that good” those words are what motivate me. My children watching everything I eat or do motivates me. The idea that I can run and play outside with my littlest one and never get tired. All of these wonderful people motivate me.
What is the best part about working with Julie?
Everything!!! She listens and she sets high standards. She holds you accountable. She cares about your health in a positive way. I consider her not just my coach but a friend.
What is the worst part about working with Julie?
She lives to far away. I would love to actually have her work me out in the gym one day. I might regret putting this in writing. 🙂
Favorite 'diet' food:
Well, I cannot just pick one, so here it goes:
- Strawberry Ultimate Muscle Protein Pancakes
- Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein Pudding
- Ultimate Muscle Protein Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies
I could name a few more, but as you can see all my favs require Beverly International Ultimate Muscle Protein. It is the best protein powder around!

Working with Julie
The best part of working with Julie Lohre is absolutely everything! She motivate you, listens to you, is always upbeat and positive. She challenges each individual to reach their goals in her Online Personal Training for Women Program. I remember the first day I walked into her Team FITBODY meeting and she greeted not just me, but everyone with a big hug like she had known us forever. I will continue to work with her. I am confident with her behind me every step of the way. I will do and be something amazing!!!!
