    Personal Information

I am a 26 year old CT technologist and wife to a US Marine. I have always been active in sports since the age of 4 when I started competing on a swim team and continued until I started college. I love anything outdoors such as hiking and boating. Being physically fit has always been a part of my life not just because  I want to stay in shape but because of how great it makes me feel. I have always wanted to compete in a bikini competition and am so glad that I can finally check it off my list!

What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

5th place in my first competition, the Dexter Jackson Memphis Classic

WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN & WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION?

I lost 13 lbs in 9 weeks and 2 inches off my waist and thighs! Not to mention how much muscle definition I gained! I have always worked out but seeing the changes that were made after I changed my diet were amazing. Not only did I feel  better and lose weight but my facial complexion was also a lot better! Having the dedication to wake up at 0430 every morning and eat right was hard but knowing how much I wanted to reach my goal at the end pushed me through. It also helps having a trainer tell you exactly what you need to be doing to make those changes.

What do you enjoy most about fitness?

I think everyone can say that they like the way their body looks after eating right and exercising but I can also add to that that I like the way it makes me feel. Starting my day at work knowing that I just had a killer workout in the gym gave me a boost of energy! I love having a good sweat at the gym and leaving there knowing that I gave it my all.

    What are your fitness goals?

While I don’t know if the stage and tanning were for me, I have not given up the idea of doing another show. Fitness will always be a part of my life. I would love to compete in a sprint triathlon or to one day teach a kick boxing or spin class.

What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

The way it makes me feel for sure. I could never be that girl that sits on the couch eating doughnuts all day, I would go insane! Plus it does help being married to a Marine!

What is the best part about working with Julie?

How fast she responds to your emails! Her energy for fitness and for helping others is great too, and the fact that she’s been there on the stage competing before helps a lot!

What is the worst part about working with Julie?

Not having her live near me! It was difficult I think for Julie to see the changes in my body strictly from a picture. I also struggled with posing because I did not have anyone here watching me telling me what I was doing wrong.

    Favorite 'diet' food:

    Sweet potatoes and asparagus!
