    Personal Information

    I am a 24 year old with a strong background in marketing and have always held an administrative job ever since I started working at the age of 15. I’m currently an office manager for a residential real estate broker here in the Bay Area. I’ve always been interested in fitness but never took it seriously enough to completely change my lifestyle until now.

    What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

    NPC San Francisco – 2nd Place Bikini Class C
    Gained lean muscle mass in my entire body within the last 6 months.

    WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN & WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION?

    I always thought I was pretty “lean” even while eating anything I wanted and just working out at the gym without a set schedule. I’ve learned so much these past few months about how important diet is in body transformation. Training is only 10% of it! My body has never been leaner and I also feel much stronger. Being surrounded by positive energy at my local gym has really helped me through my goals for pre-contest training. And being able to have my meals prepped each day is a major factor in how I got to where I am today.

    What do you enjoy most about fitness?

    I love seeing more and more definition in my body as time goes by with my dieting and training. It’s amazing how good you can feel about yourself in some sweaty gym clothes.

    What are your fitness goals?

    I hope to compete in more NPC shows next year and possibly go Pro if I can. I would also love to book some fitness photo shoots and start developing my fitness modeling portfolio.

    What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

    The thing that motivates me most is seeing women/men out there in the fitness industry, competing, training and dieting just like me but they have bigger challenges: children, really tough job schedules, disabilities, family issues, etc yet they still push themselves to the limit and show up on that stage and shine.

    What is the best part about working with Julie?

    Julie is understanding and easy to work with. She is very responsive and always encourages me to stay on track.

    What is the worst part about working with Julie?

    The fact that I haven’t met her yet since she’s miles and miles away.

    Favorite 'diet' food:

    Hmmm…anything that’s a carbohydrate and/or fat? Haha! I LOVE rice cakes, sweet potatoes AND any kind of butter (peanut, almond, cashew).
