    Personal Information

I am a 40 year old mother of 4.  (20, 18, 12, and 9).  I am a Corporal in the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  I have worked the road my entire 18 1/2 year career, and I am the longest working road officer female in Missouri Highway Patrol history.  (no other female has worked the road this long!)

I grew up very active in sports, Soccer, Basketball, Track, and Cross country running, in High School, and played basketball in college, at Northwest Missouri State University.  I loved working out, however, upon my graduation from the Highway Patrol Academy in 1993, I decided, I didn’t need to workout anymore…I gained over 110 pounds over my 20’s!  I wasn’t in the happiest places in my life, and sought solace in food.  I decided after the birth of my son, in 1999, it was time for a change.  I took up running again, and the weight came off, pretty much.  I started to play around with weights again in 2002, but with no real direction.    I started to look at fitness magazines, and saw Beverly International’s Nonsense, and saw the information on Julie Lohre.  My husband Mark, bought me a trip to Julie’s fitbody camp in 2008, and I was HOOKED!!! I started competing at the 2009 Northern KY, and have done 7 figure shows since.  I went from 275 pounds in 2000, to 138-140 pounds at contest time!!  My average weight now is about 155-160 pounds off-season, and I dead lift 265 pounds (10 pounds under my old WEIGHT!)

I really knew it was time to make a change when I couldn’t help change a tire for someone on the side of the road, and lift my deer, during deer season.  I knew that if I wasn’t able to take care of myself, I wouldn’t be able to protect and serve the public either.  Now fitness is a part of my everyday life, and going to the Adair County YMCA is nearly an everyday event.  My children are all active as well with basketball, soccer, golf, and track.  I am a Physical Fitness trainer for Troop B of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and constantly am approached for advice in the gym.  I know that I need to set a good example for my children, and have made so many new friends through Julie’s Team Fitbody!  These women are all so very amazing, and are true inspirations!!

My future goals short-term is to place at the Kentucky Northern in March, and to continue to improve my physique.

What is the best part about working with Julie?

I love Julie and the way she is a kind woman who truly cares about all of her clients.  She has helped me achieve things I never dreamed possible.  Because of Julie, I stood on the Kentucky Muscle stage in November in the best shape of my life!

What is the worst part about working with Julie?

Julie is she is so far away!  But thank goodness there’s the internet!!!

    Favorite 'diet' food:

Julie’s protein pancakes!  They simply are amazing and help you feel as if you aren’t deprived at all!

Any other comments or anything else you would like to share

I think Julie is an angel on earth, and I am so grateful to the path to even better fitness she has shown, and taught me!  I also want to thank her for the AMAZING network of good friends I will have for the rest of my life due to her and her Team Fitbody!!
