    Personal Information

    I am a 34 year old mother of 3 girls ages 16, 12, and 7.  I am also a Certified Personal Trainer, fitness competitor, and fitness model.  I have been competing in figure, fitness, and Tri-fitness competitions for the past 5 years.  I love competing because of the goal of pushing my body to the limit and also inspiring so many along the way.  I think being a mom of 3 and still doing gymnastics and competing in physique and athletic competitions I can inspire women of all ages.  My husband and I have coached and trained my daughter’s soccer team for many years.  It is always so cool to know that these girls that I have watched grow up who are now teenagers look up to me.  I run sprints with them, scrimmage soccer, and teach them about fueling their bodies for sports.  I also enjoy gymnastics with my two younger girls.  I remember 2 years ago when I decided to start back to gymnastics after almost a 20 year break….LOL…..I held my head down and started with the beginners.  It wasn’t long though and I was doing skills I never thought I could.  I want to prove to my girls, clients, and anyone else that if you Believe in Yourself you can do anything!

    What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

    My greatest accomplishments so far are not the trophies I have received, but the goals that I have completed.  It is not about winning for me, it is the journey of living a healthy lifestyle,  making my dreams a reality and inspiring others to do them same.

    2007- Monster Mash 2nd Place Novice
    2008-Monster Mash 3rd Class D
    2009-KY Bluegrass Muscle Classic 1st Class D
    2009-Las Vegas Classic 5th Class D
    2010- Tracey Greenwood Philadelphia Classic 4th Fitness
    2010- Tri-Fitness 1st in Tall age 30-35 Fitness skills (box jumps, shuttle runs, bench press combined score)
    2011-NPC Great Lakes 3rd Fitness

    WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN & WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION?

    I was a shy mother who was not happy with her body and had no real sense of purpose 6 years ago. Now, after lifting weights consistently and eating a healthy lifestyle I can be proud of my body and have so much confidence that I feel strong mentally and physically.

    What do you enjoy most about fitness?

    I enjoy watching the transformation from beginning to end.  Watching my body transform from putting on muscle in my off season (which I love to refer as my reconstruction season ) to leaning out for contest prep and also watching my routine come together when 12 weeks out I think I have no idea how I will ever be able to!  It is an  Amazing feeling to meet your goal.

    What are your fitness goals?

    My goals are to #1  inspire others through my competing.  I think if I only do this for myself I will never be satisfied completely.  I also would love to win a Fitness competition or place in the top 10 overall in Tri-Fitness.  Modeling is as important to me as competing and my goal is to be on the cover of a major Fitness magazine one day.

    What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

    I think setting a good example for my family, friends, and clients.  How can I tell them to live a healthy lifestyle and to believe in themselves if I don’t?? To me Fitness is a way of life…..I plan on being fit and active for as long as I can.

    What is the best part about working with Julie?

    I love Julie and I started working with her over 5 years ago getting ready for my first competition.  She is an inspiration in every sense of the word and I will always credit her with the reason I ever started competing.  I saw her on the Oxygen Abs issue and wanted to be a fit mom just like her.  I love the Fit Body Team and the Mock competition is a big help no matter how many competitions I have done.  I used Julie this past competition to help me stay accountable, and to make competing fun.  I have made so many friends on the team …..almost like a sisterhood of fit women who share the passion of competing.

    Working with Julie

    I love Julie and I started working with her over 5 years ago getting ready for my first competition.  She is an inspiration in every sense of the word and I will always credit her with the reason I ever started competing.  I saw her on the Oxygen Abs issue and wanted to be a fit mom just like her.  I love the Fit Body Team and the Mock competition is a big help no matter how many competitions I have done.  I used Julie this past competition to help me stay accountable, and to make competing fun.  I have made so many friends on the team …..almost like a sisterhood of fit women who share the passion of competing.
