    Personal Information

    I’m a happily married 30 year old with a beautiful 2 ½ year old little girl. I work as a Fitness Trainer and I teach Kinesiology courses at a community college. I’ve always been involved in sports, but got more into endurance events as an adult. I’ve ran 7 full marathons and even recently completed an Ironman Triathlon. I love to push myself physically in new directions and am now competing in NPC Bikini competitions.

    What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

    Of course my greatest accomplishments in life would include such things as having my daughter, getting married, graduating, etc. But I have to say that when I stepped on stage at my first Bikini show I truly surprised myself as that was way outside my comfort zone! And when I crossed the finish line at Ironman Wisconsin on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, I’ve never been more proud. Tears ran down my face!

    WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN & WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION?

    I lost 25 pounds in about 3 ½ months. My BF% went from about 21% to closer to 10%. Most of those changes started happening once I began working with Julie Lohre. Within the first 2 weeks of being on her plan, people started noticing changes in my body. The fat was just melting off! Julie and my consistency have made the biggest impacts.

    What do you enjoy most about fitness?

    I enjoy feeling empowered by what I can get done at the gym or outdoors. Whether it’s a long run, HIIT cardio or lifting heavy weights, I feel like if I can do this, I can do anything.

    What are your fitness goals?

    My long term goals include qualifying for the Boston Marathon, competing an Ironman in under 12 hours (my current PR is just under 13 hours) and continuing to compete in the NPC and possibly earn my Pro Card one day. Never Say Never!

    What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

    My daughter is my main motivator. I want to be a good role model and show her that with dedication and hard work (and balance), anything is possible.

    What is the best part about working with Julie?

    Where do I begin?!?!?!? Julie is the best. From the moment I contacted her she was right there for me. We work as a team. If I email her a question, she responds right away. You’d think I was her only client! But I can guarantee that all of her clients feel this way about Julie. She really does care about my goals and helping me reach them. I can never thank her enough for what she does for me.

    What is the worst part about working with Julie?

    I don’t live in Kentucky!  I only wish I could work one-on-one with her more. But other than that, absolutely no complaints. Julie’s the best!

    Favorite 'diet' food:

    Oats, grapefruit, chicken

    I’ve recommended Julie to quite a few people and want to continue to spread the word about how much she has helped me. I am truly grateful to Julie for all of the attention she gives me and hope to continue to work with her as I continue to pursue my dreams!
